Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jalo Viina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Karpetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viina comes into the arena with Jaloviina blaring out of the sound system. Karpetti has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Viina.
Karpetti throws an off balance right hand
and Viina counters with a thumping low kick.
Karpetti uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Viina has time to react.

and Viina counters with an inside leg kick.

and Viina counters with a good low kick that Karpetti was not able to check.

Viina rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karpetti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Antti Karpetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Viina lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Karpetti moves out of range as Viina strikes.

Karpetti might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karpetti takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Viina jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Karpetti might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Viina has got the better of the exchanges.
Karpetti takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The crowd cheers as Viina lands an impressive looking overhand right. Karpetti doesn't seem phased though.
