Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jayceon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Put you on the Game. Williams has chosen Alice In Chains - Rooster as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jayceon Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jayceon Taylor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Williams!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jayceon Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt
and Taylor counters with a nice leg kick.
Williams takes a jab right on the kisser.
Williams tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range.
Taylor throws a solid leg kick but Williams takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Taylor.

Taylor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Taylor thinking.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that Jayceon Taylor will probably get the nod.

Taylor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Taylor lets loose with a powerful body kick. Williams will feel that in the morning.

and Taylor counters with a head kick. That will keep Williams thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Williams decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Taylor's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Taylor walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
