Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armin Merkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cleon Salmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Merkel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War Is My Destiny. The crowd seem to be enjoying Salmon's choice of entrance music: Heartbeats. Cleon Salmon has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Merkel.

and Salmon counters with a three punch combo that has Merkel backing up. Merkel nods at Salmon to acknowledge the strikes.
Salmon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Salmon takes a swing at Merkel's ribcage but misses.
Merkel slips under a jab from Salmon.
Merkel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salmon's head backwards.
Merkel misses with an uppercut. Salmon saw that one coming.

and Salmon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Salmon has had enough of the clinch but Merkel keeps him there for the moment.

Oooooh!!! Merkel has knocked Salmon down with a huge combo! Merkel steps away and waves a wobbly Salmon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Salmon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Merkel counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Salmon has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
