Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Right (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Fitzcannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Right! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicholas Fitzcannon! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzcannon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fitzcannon tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Right counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Right seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fitzcannon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Right trying to mount his opponent but Fitzcannon defends it. Right is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fitzcannon tries to kick Right off but Right keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Right wasn't doing enough on the ground. Fitzcannon misses with a double jab
and Right decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fitzcannon's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitzcannon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Right comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Right fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fitzcannon. Fitzcannon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Right counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Right is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Right has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Right looking to sit in guard and control but Fitzcannon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Right has a closed guard, preventing Fitzcannon from standing up. Fitzcannon preventing the sweep. Right is trying to control the position but Fitzcannon postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitzcannon wanted to stand there but Right had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Right is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Right pulls guard effortlessly. Fitzcannon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Right's guard. Right trying to control the position.
Right is looking to stand up but Fitzcannon isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Right trying to control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fitzcannon gets to his feet - Right follows without any prompting. Fitzcannon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Right counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Right is breathing heavily. Right is taking a breather. Fitzcannon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Right not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Right dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Right shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fitzcannon's guard. Right sitting in guard, not really doing much. Right sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fitzcannon's guard. Right trying to control the action but Fitzcannon is working from the bottom. Bobby Right overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitzcannon is trying to stand up here but Right is controlling him well. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Still in half guard, Right seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bobby Right just wasn't active enough. Fitzcannon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Right counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fitzcannon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Right tries to move to full mount but Fitzcannon actually manages to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fitzcannon is trying to get back to full guard. Right stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitzcannon throws a combination that misses and Right decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fitzcannon's guard. Right controlling from the top position. Fitzcannon wants to stand and escape but Right is having none of it. Right trying to move into half guard but instead Fitzcannon has managed to sweep! Right controls Fitzcannon momentarily but Fitzcannon frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitzcannon wants to get up but he can't break Right's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Right looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Right lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fitzcannon! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Right looking to control but Fitzcannon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Right dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Right closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fitzcannon did well to prevent Right getting side control. Right prevents Fitzcannon from standing back up.
Right has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Fitzcannon works to full guard. Fitzcannon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fitzcannon trying to control the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Right trying to control the position from guard on top but Fitzcannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Right's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Right wasn't doing enough on the ground. Fitzcannon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Right. A punch combination from Fitzcannon misses. Right feints and as Fitzcannon raises his hands in defense, Right changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Right trying to control the position from guard on top but Fitzcannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nicholas Fitzcannon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Right is looking to work some ground and pound but Fitzcannon has wrist control. Fitzcannon keeping moving, preventing Right from controlling successfully. Fitzcannon wants to stand and escape but Right is having none of it.
We're going to have a standup here because Bobby Right wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Right explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Fitzcannon misses with a wild combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Right. Right is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fitzcannon can do to turn this around? Right is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Right moves into full mount! Fitzcannon won't be happy about that! Right takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Right goes for an armbar but Fitzcannon turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fitzcannon. Right is pulling down on Fitzcannon's head to control his posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Right showed his dominance in that final round. Well Right has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
