Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Hear Me Now. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ang's choice of entrance music: Long Way To The Top. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodney Ang!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang just misses with a punch to the body.
Morgan has his takedown stuffed
and Ang counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Morgan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Morgan thinking.
Morgan misses with a double jab.
Morgan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Morgan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Morgan scoring with punches to the head and body.
Morgan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ang is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ang has escaped and now he's on top!
Morgan is pulling down on Ang's head to control his posture.

Ang drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morgan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morgan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morgan!
Ang manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ang winds up and cracks Morgan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ang is looking for a kimura here.
Ang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ang with the ground and pound but Morgan uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Morgan wants to stand and escape but Ang is having none of it.
Morgan keeping full guard, as Ang tries to pass.
Morgan is trying to control the position but Ang postures up.
Ang is fighting to break Morgan's control of his arms but Morgan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Morgan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Morgan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Morgan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ang.
We're going to have a standup here because Dexter Morgan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ang lands a nice leg kick that just misses Morgan's sensitive parts.
Dexter Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morgan misses with a head kick.
Morgan throws a head kick that half lands.
Morgan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ang counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexter Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morgan is breathing heavily.

Ang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morgan manages to avoid it.
Ang bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ang is looking to take a break and control but Morgan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morgan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ang slows the pace down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Morgan is not content to let Ang control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodney Ang dominated that round.
That's time! Morgan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Morgan.
Morgan lands a head kick. Ang smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Morgan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ang.
Morgan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Morgan misses with a hook
and Ang counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut.
Ang punishes Morgan's body with a nice straight punch.
Morgan fails with the takedown
and Morgan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rodney Ang seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Morgan thinking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A jab lands there for Ang.
Ang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morgan quickly recovers to half guard.
Morgan is rocked!
Ang lands a big elbow - Morgan is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Ang!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodney Ang!
