Emelianenko has chosen The Red Army Is The Strongest as his entrance music. Santiago Toney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Santiago Toney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksander Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toney throws a predictable looking body shot
and Emelianenko counters with a nice uppercut. A jab from Toney does it's job there. Santiago Toney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toney throws a predictable looking body shot
and Emelianenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Toney listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Toney throws an off balance right hand
and Toney takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Emelianenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Emelianenko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. It looks like Emelianenko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko works his way into side control. Emelianenko in side control, throwing shots but Toney defends. Toney being controlled for a moment. Emelianenko prevents Toney from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Emelianenko is working to tighten is grip on Toney's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Toney has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Emelianenko is really squeezing tight and eventually Toney passes out! Emelianenko breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
