Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonidas King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jes Justiniano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the ring accompanied by Black Lab-This Night. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonidas King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jes Justiniano! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justiniano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee asks Justiniano politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Justiniano prefers to stall for the moment though. Justiniano is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there. King is trying to get back to half guard. Justiniano controlling the position from side mount. Justiniano landing a few strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on King's face as Justiniano controls the position. Justiniano working the ground and pound. Justiniano is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jes Justiniano hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Justiniano throws a leg kick that is checked and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Justiniano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Justiniano takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Justiniano shoots in and bounces King off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Justiniano seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. King can't keep his opponent in guard - Justiniano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Justiniano moves into full mount! King won't be happy about that! King is in a horrible position here. Justiniano smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Justiniano raining down shots from the mount! Justiniano is landing with some decent strikes but King is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. King wants to try and get back to his feet. Justiniano scoring with strikes but King is staying in there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Justiniano controlling the position easily from mount. Justiniano working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Justiniano sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jes Justiniano dominated that round. That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Justiniano closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. King looks like he's trying to stand up.
Well, if Justiniano is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jes Justiniano has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Justiniano shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. King pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Justiniano back to the ropes. King follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Justiniano closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Justiniano pushes King against the ropes but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. King throws out a powerful jab. King lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Justiniano swings and misses with a shot to the body and King counters with an outside leg kick.
King scores with a one two! Justiniano had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King throws a good cross that connects.
Justiniano throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. King tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Justiniano is in King's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Justiniano works over King with some ground and pound from guard. Justiniano slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Justiniano must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Justiniano.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Justiniano's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jes Justiniano hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Justiniano throws a sloppy body shot
letting King counter with a right hand. King takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Justiniano shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Justiniano looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee warns King that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Justiniano tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Justiniano looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Justiniano lands a nice shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. King tries to buck Justiniano off but he can't manage it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Justiniano content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jes Justiniano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Justiniano shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches King napping and manages to drive through into side control! Justiniano in side control, just content to control the action for now. King tries to escape but Justiniano is in control. Jes Justiniano has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Justiniano scoring with punches and elbows. A lull in the action here as Justiniano stalls from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Justiniano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jes Justiniano. A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Justiniano to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Justiniano is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Justiniano pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard. Justiniano passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for King! Justiniano controlling from mount. King tries to hold on but Justiniano postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Justiniano lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Leonidas King has been cut. Justiniano controlling his opponent. Justiniano has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Leonidas King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Justiniano's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jes Justiniano is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
