Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Commando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Francis Commando!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch fails with the takedown
and Commando connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lynch throws a leg kick which misses Commando's front leg but catches the back leg as Commando tries to avoid it.
Lynch with a poor takedown
and Commando counters with a nice uppercut.
Commando tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lynch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lynch walks into a left hand.

Commando throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lynch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Commando is in Lynch's guard.
Commando wants to stand but Lynch is controlling his posture from full guard.
Commando passes Lynch's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lynch is trying to control but can't.
Nice strikes from Commando there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lynch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Commando seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lynch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Commando on the ground.
Let's hope that Commando has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Commando thows a huge punch but Lynch dodges it nicely.
Commando has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lynch has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Commando escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Commando!
Commando is looking to take a break and control but Lynch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lynch is looking for a sweep.
Commando is chipping away with strikes.
Commando controls the position.
Commando in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Commando in the domination position with Lynch hanging on.

Commando thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lynch is trying to get back to half guard.

Commando looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lynch is trying to escape the position but Commando is controlling the position.
Commando looks gassed!

Commando stands up and beckons Lynch to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lynch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Commando's waist but Commando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lynch off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Lynch. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Commando holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lynch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lynch prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lynch is looking to control Commando's arms but Commando gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lynch has his back to the ropes.
Commando is pressed up against the ropes. Lynch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Commando down to the mat. Commando avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lynch instigates a clinch.

Lynch manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Francis Commando dominated that round.
That's time! Lynch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lynch fails to land with a series of punches.
Commando tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lynch counters with a nice kick to the body.
Lynch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Commando counters with a single leg into guard. Lynch didn't expect that.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Lynch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Commando doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Commando manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lynch wants to stand up but Commando is controlling him.

Lynch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Commando's guard.

Lynch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Commando manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lynch has Commando in his guard.

Lynch is trying to maintain the position but Commando is very close to passing his half guard.

Lynch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Commando's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Commando's back!
Commando wants to control his opponent's hands but Lynch gets his hands free.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Commando wants to escape the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lynch tries to keep control of the position but Commando is staying busy.
Lynch punches the canvas rather than the man.

Lynch is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Commando is defending well though. Lynch let's go of the attempt for now.
Lynch tries to get the hooks in deep but Commando pushed the leg off.
Commando is really stuck here.
Lynch punishes Commando with strikes from the back mount.

Francis Commando showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Commando counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lynch won't be happy with that.
Lynch is looking to reverse the position.

Lynch is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Commando is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Commando cracks Lynch with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lynch holds on to Commando around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Lynch is wriggling around trying to escape.
Commando lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lynch hang on?

Lynch wants to control but Commando is having none of it.
Commando tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lynch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Commando lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lynch hang on?
Lynch tries to control the position but Commando now has his back.
Lynch is trying to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Commando is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Commando doesn't have the hooks in and Lynch manages to turn into his guard.
Lynch looking to pass the guard.
Lynch prevents Commando from getting back to his feet.

Commando is trying to keep Lynch in close.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lynch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Lynch swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Lynch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lynch throws a head kick that Commando semi-blocks.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lynch.

Lynch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Lynch jumps guard and drags Commando to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
Francis Commando comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Commando winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
