Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slap Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Donato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donato throws a combination that misses
and Stick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stick tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Donato counters with a nice uppercut.
Donato throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stick counters with a right hand to the body.
Stick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stick pushes Donato off and gets back to his feet.
Stick tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Donato counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stick's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Donato controls the pace.

Donato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stick enables Donato to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stick manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Donato seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
