Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Double Whammy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Castiglioni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Double Whammy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giuseppe Castiglioni! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castiglioni misses with an uppercut. Whammy saw that one coming. A low kick from Castiglioni is predictable there and Whammy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Whammy tries a head kick but it misses.
Whammy misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Castiglioni counters with a low kick, right behind Whammy 's knee. Castiglioni tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Castiglioni takes a swing at Whammy's ribcage but misses. Castiglioni scores with a head kick. Whammy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Double Whammy has been cut. Whammy blocks a head kick by Castiglioni.
Castiglioni wants to slow Whammy down by chopping away at his legs. Whammy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. This has been an exciting period of action! Whammy throwing strikes but missing. Whammy is working Castiglioni over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Whammy advances to half guard. Whammy not landing any meaningful shots this time. Whammy slips a nice elbow through Castiglioni's hands, connecting with Castiglioni's forehead. Whammy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whammy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Castiglioni keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Whammy missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Whammy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Castiglioni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Whammy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Whammy in side control, just content to control the action for now. Whammy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whammy throwing strikes but Castiglioni manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Both fighters take a look at the clock. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Double Whammy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Whammy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Castiglioni did well to prevent Whammy getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Double Whammy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Double Whammy's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Whammy gets in close and instigates a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Whammy.

Whammy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Castiglioni being controlled here, momentarily. Whammy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Whammy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Whammy connects with a nice short shot to Castiglioni's temple. Whammy trying to control the pace. Whammy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ground and pound from Whammy. Castiglioni taking some punishment here, with Whammy in his half guard. Well, if Whammy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Whammy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Castiglioni to the mat! Castiglioni manages to get full guard. Whammy scoring with some ground and pound. Whammy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Whammy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Whammy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Castiglioni works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Whammy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whammy cracks Castiglioni with a solid left hand. Castiglioni takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Whammy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Castiglioni's head. Castiglioni can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Whammy controls the pace. Whammy throwing strikes from guard but Castiglioni blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whammy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Double Whammy. Whammy takes a shot right to the bread basket. A head kick misses from Whammy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castiglioni checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Castiglioni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A bone on bone clash there as Castiglioni blocks the leg kick.
Whammy clinches up against the cage. Whammy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Castiglioni. Castiglioni is trying to break the clinch but Whammy is controlling him. Whammy lands a nice shot to the body. Castiglioni is trying to maintain a safe position but Whammy gets an underhook and turns Castiglioni into the cage. Whammy scores with an uppercut up the middle.
It looks like Giuseppe Castiglioni has been cut. Whammy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Castiglioni backwards. Whammy comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Whammy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Whammy misses with an uppercut
and Castiglioni counters with a body kick that stops Whammy in his tracks momentarily. Whammy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Whammy throws a head kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Whammy misses with an elbow strike.

A leg kick checked by Castiglioni. Giuseppe Castiglioni has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Castiglioni throws a shot from downtown. Whammy moves away and avoids it. Whammy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Whammy cracks Castiglioni with an elbow. That is naaassty. Castiglioni being controlled for a moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Double Whammy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Whammy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
