Paine comes to the cage accompanied by Iced Earth - Watching Over Me. Laihaila has chosen Forever Lost as his entrance music. Ahto Paine is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Laihaila doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Paine counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Miika Laihaila has been cut.

and Paine counters with a series of strikes. Laihaila will be more careful next time no doubt.

Laihaila shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Paine counters with a nice low kick that buckles Laihaila's knee momentarily.

Paine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Laihaila stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Miika Laihaila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paine lands a big uppercut and Laihaila crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Laihaila looks OK. Paine waves Laihaila back to his feet!
Paine throws a powerful right kick. Laihaila tried to block low but the kick was high! Laihaila was taken right off of his feet! Paine jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ahto Paine!
