Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Achilles Leohanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Berzins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Achilles Leohanes!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzins throws a leg kick that misses.
Leohanes ducks right into an uppercut from Berzins.
Leohanes moves away from the strike by Berzins.
Leohanes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Leohanes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Berzins sprawls well. Berzins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leohanes gets slowly back to his feet.
Berzins lands a head shot.
Berzins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Leohanes is able to avoid easily.
Leohanes shoots in for a takedown but Berzins shows good takedown defense.
Berzins wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berzins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Berzins clinches up against the cage.
Leohanes goes for a takedown in the clinch but Berzins prevents it.
Michael Berzins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Achilles Leohanes.
Leohanes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Berzins walks away with a smile on his face. Leohanes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Leohanes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Leohanes looks gassed!

Leohanes frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Leohanes scoring with strikes but Berzins is staying in there.
Leohanes looking to control but Berzins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Berzins is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Leohanes throwing strikes here but Berzins is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Leohanes lands a nice shot to the head.

Berzins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Berzins holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Leohanes tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Leohanes with the ground and pound from mount.
Leohanes lands a heavy elbow.
Leohanes looking to control but Berzins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Leohanes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Berzins tries to reverse the position but Leohanes maintains control.
Leohanes throwing strikes but Berzins bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Leohanes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Achilles Leohanes wasn't active enough on the ground.
Berzins moves into the clinch.
Leohanes avoiding damage as Berzins throws knees to the body.
Leohanes wants a takedown.
Berzins lands a right hand that snaps the head of Leohanes backwards.
Leohanes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Berzins gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Leohanes tries to pull guard but Berzins won't allow it.
Leohanes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Leohanes tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Berzins avoids it.
Leohanes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leohanes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Michael Berzins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Berzins works the jab nicely.
Berzins throws a chopping leg kick but Leohanes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Berzins closes the distance and clinches.
Berzins scores with a nice hook to the head.

Berzins lands with a left to the head.
Berzins lands a nice uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Berzins creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Berzins lands with a left to the head.
Berzins breaks the clinch.
Berzins blocks a head kick by Leohanes.
Berzins slaps away a takedown attempt from Leohanes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Berzins with a nice cross.
Berzins sizes up Leohanes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Leohanes is rocked!
Berzins ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Leohanes's jaw. Leohanes's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Berzins does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
