Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tap Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Gersham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gersham is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scorpions - Rock you like a hurricane. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tap Out! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jermaine Gersham! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gersham is looking to clinch. Out shoots in looking for a takedown but Gersham manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Out's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gersham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Out stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No luck with that takedown attempt from Out. Out changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gersham tries to avoid it but Out manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gersham to the ground. Gersham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tap Out. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gersham misses with a wild body shot. Jermaine Gersham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Out fails to land the takedown. Gersham stuffs the takedown. Out shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gersham's guard. Gersham trying to control the position.
