Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivanos Prizas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivanos Prizas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Alves! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves throws a right hand that misses
and Alves takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Alves changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prizas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Prizas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Prizas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground. Alves trying to control the position but Prizas is working away. Prizas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Alves wants to stand but Prizas has his arm trapped. Prizas is looking for a sweep. Alves is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prizas has escaped the position, nice work there. Alves tries for a kimura but Prizas is defending well. Alves looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Prizas is avoiding damage well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prizas keeps working. Prizas can't do much from the bottom here. Prizas is trying to strike from the bottom but Alves has passed into full mount. Alves trying to control but Prizas is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alves lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Alves lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Oh Prizas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Alves landing shots from mount. Prizas wants to control but Alves is having none of it. Alves thowing shots but they're missing. Alves tries to control but Prizas wriggling away. Prizas seems to have got his legs back now. Prizas tries to lock up and control but Alves gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Alves putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alves controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alves with a couple of short strikes. Alves with shots to the head and body - Prizas looks very uncomfortable down there. Alves is working for a guillotine from mount but Prizas frees his head quite easily.
Alves scoring with strikes but Prizas is staying in there. Prizas is breathing heavily. Alves fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Alves is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Prizas is surviving well by controlling Alves's body position as best he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alves tries to control but Prizas wriggling away. Prizas is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prizas wants to hold on but Alves pushes him away. Alves tries to control but Prizas wriggling away. Alves putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Alves wants to control the pace but Prizas is squirming around nicely. Prizas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alves controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson Alves dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Prizas is just out of range. Alves misses with a body shot.
Alves takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Alves darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Alves thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Alves seems to be working for a kimura but Prizas defends the submission attempt. Alves looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Alves has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Alves is thwarting Prizas's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Alves thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Prizas's head. Alves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Alves is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Prizas actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alves is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Alves wants to take a breather but Prizas is having none of it. Alves sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Prizas defending well though. Alves is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Alves passes the guard and advances to mount! Alves is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Alves extends the arm and Prizas is forced to tap!
