Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smit's choice of entrance music: Can't be Touched. Paul Smit has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tony Fontana's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Fontana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Smit! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fontana pivots, looking for a leg kick but Smit is out of range and Fontana settles back down. Oh, that's a big right hand from Fontana and Smit goes tumbling to the canvas! Fontana follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Smit is rocked!
It looks like Paul Smit has been cut. Smit trying to hold on to Fontana's head to control him but Fontana postures up.
Fontana is looking to advance position but Smit won't allow it. Fontana is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Smit is defending against the submission attempts here by Fontana.
Fontana is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Smit sees it coming and defends easily. Fontana tries to pass the half guard into mount. Smit knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Smit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fontana pulls his head out easily. Fontana is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fontana is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fontana. Smit is trying to stand up here but Fontana is controlling him well. Fontana sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Smit defending well though. Fontana is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Smit wants to improve his position but Fontana is controlling well.
Smit wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fontana is looking to take a break and control but Smit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fontana decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Smit lands with a right hand. Smit just misses with a punch to the body.
Fontana lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Smit is pawing at Fontana, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Fontana's nose. Fontana is badly hurt! Smit pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Fontana tries desperately to hold on but Smit is relentless in his assault! As Fontana receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Smit away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Smit!
