Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between RJ Tenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that RJ Tenn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily RJ Tenn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Hudson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tenn moves out of range of the strikes. A jab from Hudson misses. Hudson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tenn. Hudson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tenn is controlling him well. Tenn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tenn is looking to take a break and control but Hudson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tenn tries for a kimura. That's one minute gone in the round. Tenn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tenn stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hudson throws a jab but it's blocked by Tenn. Justin Hudson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tenn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hudson. Tenn defending well as Hudson loads up on a big left hand. Tenn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tenn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hudson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tenn looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tenn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tenn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hudson keeping full guard, as Tenn tries to pass. Hudson wants to stand up but Tenn is controlling him. Hudson looks gassed!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hudson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tenn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hudson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tenn moves away. Hudson throws a jab when Tenn was well out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tenn. Hudson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hudson throws a hook but Tenn blocks it. Tenn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hudson circles away. Tenn gets a takedown into half guard. Tenn works his foot free and advances to mount. Tenn working for a submission but Hudson is keeping him at bay. Tenn looking for a guillotine from mount but Hudson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tenn looking to control and managing it successfully. Tenn is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hudson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Hudson is controlling an arm, preventing Tenn from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Hudson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

RJ Tenn dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tenn looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tenn pushing down on Hudson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hudson is staying active underneath Tenn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tenn can do anything to dispel that myth. Hudson is defending against the submission attempts here by Tenn.

That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tenn perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Tenn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hudson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tenn. Tenn works his foot free and advances to mount. Tenn has control of Hudson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hudson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hudson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tenn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hudson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Tenn working for the choke. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tenn working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hudson is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Tenn has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hudson taps out!
