Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chang T Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chang T Roc! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roc tries to clinch up. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Roc in a clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Roc gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Roc with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jones is trying to break free. Roc drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.

Roc can't break the clinch.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roc chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jones throws a head kick but Roc moves out of range.
Jones blocks a jab. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones feints and as Roc raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones gets to his feet - Roc follows without any prompting. Chang T Roc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Roc clinches but Jones breaks the clinch and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Roc wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Jones gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jones stands up from half guard. Jones cracks Roc with a good jab. Roc doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. Jones checks a leg kick. Jones throws a right hand that Roc ducks under and follows up with a left that Roc also avoids with ease. Roc darts in trying to clinch and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Roc drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
John Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chang T Roc. Roc looks gassed! Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roc pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones. Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

Jones throws a body kick that misses. Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Roc lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Roc tries to clinch up and Jones counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Roc! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones controlling from the full mount. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roc tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roc is looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Roc tries to clinch but fails miserably and Roc takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Roc shoots in but no luck this time. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Roc. Roc gets slowly back to his feet. Jones slips a straight right by Roc. Roc takes one to the side of the head.
Jones moves into range and connects with a jab. Jones looks to land a combination. Roc sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Roc is rocked! Jones misses with a double jab.
Roc is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? John Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roc. Roc seems to have recovered his senses. Roc cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head. Jones lands with a nice combination. Roc backs away looking to recover. Roc is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones. Roc with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. John Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chang T Roc. Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Roc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones pushes down on Roc's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stalling away here and it's allowed Roc to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roc wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jones trying to control but Roc is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roc, up you get! Roc fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Roc looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Roc fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a two punch combo. Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Roc is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Roc. Jones lands with a nice combination. Roc backs away looking to recover. Roc shoots in but no luck this time. Jones clinches up with Roc and pushes him back against the cage. Roc keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Roc escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roc blocks a head kick by Jones.
Roc looks to clinch and Jones counters with a big head kick but Roc shrugs it off. Roc fails with a takedown attempt. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Roc. Roc moves out of range as Jones strikes. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Roc moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Roc tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a head kick. Roc jabs at Jones's body. Roc shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jones gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roc, up you get! Jones gets the takedown into side control. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Roc get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Jones dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

A head punch blocked on the inside by Jones. Roc tries a knee to the head but Jones blocks it.

Jones throws a nice outside leg kick. Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jones looks to land a combination. Roc sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Roc fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones throws a one two combo.
Jones looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Roc shoots in. Roc closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roc misses with a takedown and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. John Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chang T Roc.

Roc has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones can't break the clinch.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roc is looking to clinch. Roc gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Roc manages to break the clinch.
Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Roc! Roc is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jones controlling the position easily from mount. Roc tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones trying to control but Roc is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roc is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jones controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chang T Roc has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee stands the fighters back up. John Jones just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jones misses with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! John Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
