The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rompevsky misses with a hook to the body
and Stewart Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Mikhail Rompevsky has been cut.
Stewart Jr lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stewart Jr looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A left lands for Rompevsky.
It looks like Payne Stewart Jr has been cut.
Rompevsky misses the body punch
and Stewart Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rompevsky throws a head kick that misses
and Stewart Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Rompevsky keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stewart Jr.

Rompevsky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stewart Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Stewart Jr counters with a thumping low kick.
A shot to the body from Rompevsky misses
and Stewart Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Rompevsky throws a lazy head kick
and Stewart Jr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rompevsky looks gassed!
Rompevsky throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Stewart Jr counter with a right hand.
Stewart Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rompevsky moves out of range as Stewart Jr strikes.
Stewart Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Rompevsky throws a lazy uppercut
and Stewart Jr counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stewart Jr works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rompevsky throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Stewart Jr counters with a two punch combo.
Rompevsky is rocked!
A lazy body kick from Rompevsky
and Stewart Jr counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
