Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cheldon Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ravi Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Cheldon Charles has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Matos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Matos has control of Charles's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Charles regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well Matos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
