Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowels shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Skipper counters with a nice uppercut. Bowels takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Skipper lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bowels shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skipper pinned against the cage. Skipper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bowels wants to clinch up but Skipper keeps it at a distance. Bowels misses with a takedown attempt and Skipper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The Skipper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Bowels. Bowels throws a poor cross that misses
and Skipper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Skipper is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Bowels on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A jab from Skipper does it's job there. Corey Bowels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Skipper defends it nicely. Skipper darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Skipper stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Skipper works over Bowels's head and body with a nice combination. Bowels shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bowels was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bowels misses with a head shot. Bowels has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowels unloads with some shots from mount but Skipper bucks and avoids them well.
Bowels with good strikes from the mount here! Bowels throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Skipper because Bowels loaded up on that one. Skipper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowels on the ground. Skipper is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Bowels with shots to the head and body - Skipper looks very uncomfortable down there. Skipper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skipper tries to get out of the position. Bowels postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Skipper in real trouble here! The ref calls for Skipper to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
