Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Talon Rivaldo!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivaldo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Coleman works the jab nicely.
Coleman drops his hands momentarily and Rivaldo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Coleman moves out of range of the strikes.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coleman.
Rivaldo lands an overhand right.
Coleman is rocked!
Rivaldo throws a combination that misses
and Coleman counters with a head kick.
Coleman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Coleman thumps Rivaldo with a low kick.
Rivaldo clobbers Coleman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Oh Coleman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch lands to the side of Coleman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Coleman throws a low kick but Rivaldo avoids it.
Rivaldo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Coleman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rivaldo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Coleman is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Rivaldo just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! And now a right hook, right on the button! Coleman has gone limp, and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Talon Rivaldo!
