Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremiah Riggs! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs moves into range and clinches up with Anderson. Anderson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Anderson trying to control from half guard but Riggs is working away. Anderson wants to stand but Riggs has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Riggs trying to hold on to Anderson's head to control him but Anderson postures up.
Anderson trying to control from half guard but Riggs is working away. Anderson moves nicely into side control. Riggs is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riggs keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Anderson.
Riggs is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Anderson tries to advance to mount but can't. Anderson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Riggs is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Anderson trying to control the action but Riggs is working from the bottom. Riggs manages to get back to half guard. Riggs is staying active underneath Anderson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Anderson wants to free his trapped foot but Riggs is holding on for dear life with his legs. Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riggs keeps working. Riggs keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Riggs defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson is breathing heavily. Anderson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Riggs is not content to let Anderson control the position. Riggs is controlling Anderson's trapped leg to prevent Anderson from advancing to side control. Anderson trying to control the action but Riggs is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Anderson prevents Riggs from improving his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. William Anderson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Riggs is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like William Anderson has been cut. Riggs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riggs trying to control the position but Anderson is working away. Riggs working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Riggs tries to move into full mount but can't pass Anderson's legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremiah Riggs dominated that round. The cut man is working on William Anderson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Left hook, right uppercut from Riggs. William Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson wants to clinch but Riggs slips to the side and Riggs counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Anderson keeping full guard, as Riggs tries to pass. Riggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Riggs looking to pass the guard. Riggs is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson is trying to keep Riggs in close.
Riggs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position. Riggs slips nicely into half guard. Anderson won't allow Riggs to pass to mount. Riggs seems to be looking for submissions.
Riggs seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Riggs tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anderson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Anderson is looking to control Riggs's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Riggs wants to take a breather but Anderson is having none of it. Riggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson is trying to control but can't.
Riggs wants to work for an arm triangle but Anderson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Still in half guard, Riggs seems content to control. Let's hope that Riggs has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Riggs scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Riggs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anderson! Riggs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Anderson is trying to escape the mount.
Riggs looking for a guillotine from mount but Anderson is having none of it. Riggs goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Anderson is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggs wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment. Riggs has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Anderson wants to control from the top but Riggs keeps moving. Anderson looking to sit in guard and control but Riggs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremiah Riggs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on William Anderson's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Riggs shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Riggs to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Anderson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Riggs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is in Riggs's guard. Riggs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Riggs wriggles free and stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Riggs lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard. Riggs wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Riggs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Riggs prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Riggs works a leg free and moves into half guard. Anderson won't allow Riggs to pass to mount. Jeremiah Riggs has got the better of the ground game so far. Anderson wants to control but Riggs is keeping busy and won't allow it. Riggs controlling the action here. Riggs prevents Anderson from improving his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Riggs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Riggs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jeremiah Riggs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anderson keeping moving, preventing Riggs from controlling successfully. Riggs looking to pass the guard. William Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Jeremiah Riggs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Riggs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
