Lesnar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Up.
Lesnar throws a series of punches but Up moves out of range.
Lesnar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Up swivels and escapes.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Up sprawls well.
Lesnar on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Up throws a hook but Lesnar blocks it.
Lesnar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Up throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lesnar avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
No joy there for Up, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Up finds Lesnar's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lesnar flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Up lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lesnar will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Geez Up!
