The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gattuso misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gattuso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tohveli counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tohveli, as that shot connected.
Gattuso throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gattuso misses with a double jab.
Gattuso misses with the combination.
Gattuso has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gattuso scores with a head kick.

It looks like Reino Tohveli has been cut.
Tohveli lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tohveli doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gattuso counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gattuso.

Gattuso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tohveli misses with the combination.

Gattuso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Gattuso counters with a thumping low kick.

Gattuso throws a right and a left that Tohveli avoids nicely.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tohveli. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gattuso lands a big head kick that sends Tohveli tumbling to the mat! Gattuso takes a step backwards and waves Tohveli back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tohveli is rocked!
Tohveli loses concentration momentarily and Gattuso pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Tohveli crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Gattuso finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
