Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick Davis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Serra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Davis! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Serra manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Serra throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Davis wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving. Davis drops back looking for a leg! Serra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Serra manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Serra's guard. Serra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Serra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Serra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself. Serra is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davis defends well. Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Serra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Serra looking for a triangle here. Davis is fighting it but it looks tight! Serra pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Davis is tapping out - this one is all over!
