Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hoppsan Barley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Werdas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoppsan Barley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brandon Werdas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hoppsan Barley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Werdas! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barley closes the distance and clinches. Werdas fails to pull guard.
Werdas looking for a takedown. Barley breaks from the clinch.
Werdas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barley throws a head kick that misses. Barley shoots in and gets a takedown into Werdas's guard. Werdas working for a triangle but Barley defends it easily.
Werdas trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Werdas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Barley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Werdas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barley has managed to get both his arms back between Werdas's legs - danger averted. Barley tries to free his leg and advance position but Werdas is retaining full guard. Werdas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barley controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Barley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Werdas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Barley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Barley wants to pass the guard but Werdas is keeping the position. Werdas is working an open guard so Barley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Werdas fails with the takedown and Barley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Brandon Werdas has been cut. Hoppsan Barley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Werdas. Werdas looks gassed! Barley takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Barley gets in close and instigates a clinch. Werdas is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Werdas letting Barley take a breather here. Barley breaks from the clinch.
Barley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Werdas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Werdas is letting Barley control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barley looks up at the clock and then as Werdas takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Barley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Barley landing a few strikes. A lull in the action here. Barley creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Barley swings around for an armbar but Werdas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Barley's guard. Werdas stops Barley from standing up. Werdas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Werdas has managed to get both his arms back between Barley's legs - danger averted. Barley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Werdas defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Werdas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Barley pulls Werdas in close to his closed guard and prevents Werdas from doing any damage or advancing position. Barley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Werdas stacks Barley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Werdas! Werdas throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Barley works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Werdas is stalling here. Barley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Werdas seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Barley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Barley is staying tight to Werdas's torso, preventing him from escaping. Check out the look on Barley's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Barley lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Werdas down.
Werdas trying to remain calm as Barley controls from the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Werdas wants to control but Barley postures up. Barley controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hoppsan Barley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brandon Werdas's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Werdas tries for a takedown but Barley circles away easily and Barley counters with a nice double leg into guard. Barley lands a couple of digs. Barley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Werdas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barley defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barley postures up and lands a big shot to Werdas's brow. Werdas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barley controls the pace. Barley works over Werdas with some ground and pound from guard. Barley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Barley stands up from Werdas's guard - Barley perhaps looking for a knockout. Werdas is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Werdas misses with a takedown and Barley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Werdas is rocked! Barley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Barley is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Werdas! Werdas is bucking up trying to escape but Barley cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Barley controlling from mount. Barley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Werdas is looking to get to half guard. Werdas looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barley is landing with strikes. Werdas can't take much more of this. Barley scores with punches from the back.
Werdas looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Barley lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Werdas.
Werdas is still in real trouble! Can Barley finish him? Barley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Werdas can do to turn this around? Good control from Barley. Werdas seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barley is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Werdas has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Barley is riding his opponent, not letting Werdas buck him off. Oooh a big shot gets through from Barley. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Barley punishes Werdas with strikes from the back mount. Barley lands shots to the head and Werdas turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
