The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taheri tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sinistra counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tayeb Taheri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Sinistra misses the target.

Taheri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Taheri showed some decent athleticism there.
Taheri wants to pass to mount but Sinistra is defending the position.

Taheri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sinistra's waist but Sinistra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taheri off to one side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taheri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sinistra to score with a decent uppercut.
Sinistra feints a jab promting Taheri to slip. Sinistra then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Taheri slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Tayeb Taheri has been cut.
