Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorje Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slayer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Otep - Battle Ready kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terry Acton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorje Slayer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Slayer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Acton. Acton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Slayer struggling a bit here. Slayer is trying to get back to half guard. Acton decides to stand up, so the ref orders Slayer to his feet. Acton takes the fight into the clinch. Acton cracks Slayer with a nice body shot. Slayer jumps guard but Acton stands there with Slayer around his waist. Slayer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Acton comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer tries to break the clinch but Acton is controlling the position. Stalling in the clinch from Acton.
Slayer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Acton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Acton won't allow Slayer to sweep him here. Slayer looking to control.
Acton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Acton wants to get up but he can't break Slayer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Acton trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acton is breathing heavily. Slayer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Slayer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Acton can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Acton is trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer trying to control but he's not successful this time. Slayer landing strikes, looking to finish! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slayer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Acton is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Slayer landing strikes from the mount. Slayer landing strikes from the mount and Acton is in trouble! Slayer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Acton is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Acton is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Slayer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Slayer controlling from mount. Acton really wants to buck Slayer off and get back to his feet. Slayer has control of Acton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Acton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Slayer lands a big shot there that rocks Acton but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jorje Slayer will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Slayer is looking to clinch. Acton feints and as Slayer raises his hands in defense, Acton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Slayer looking to control.
Acton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slayer on the ground. Slayer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Acton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Slayer's guard. Slayer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Acton wants to stand and escape but instead Slayer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer wants to control from the top but Acton keeps moving. Slayer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Acton wants to stand up but Slayer is controlling him. Slayer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Slayer stops Acton from standing up. Slayer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Acton works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Slayer with a nice head shot there. Slayer wants to pass the guard but Acton is keeping the position. Acton wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Slayer manages to pass to side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Acton keeps working. Slayer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Acton tries to buck Slayer off but Slayer takes his back! Slayer scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Acton is looking for a way out. Acton is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Slayer gets his way!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slayer trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Slayer looking for the choke from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slayer scores with punches from the back.
Slayer punishes Acton with strikes from the back mount. Acton wants to get back to his feet. Slayer looking for the RNC. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorje Slayer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Slayer as Acton shoots in. Acton looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Acton throws a sloppy head kick and Slayer moves out of range easily. Nice straight punches there by Acton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Acton. Slayer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Acton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Acton is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Slayer is controlling him well. Slayer taking a breather here. Slayer cracks Acton with a big elbow. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Slayer has hold of Acton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Acton seems comfortable defending it but Slayer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Acton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Acton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Slayer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
