Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boy Kalawit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Carlo! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlo fails with the takedown and Kalawit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kalawit tries to clinch up. Carlo tries to keep at a distance but Kalawit has taken the fight into the clinch. Still in the clinch, Kalawit scores with a nice short uppercut. Carlo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kalawit throws a punch but it's blocked by Carlo. Kalawit scores with a shot to the side of Carlo's head. Kalawit misses with a hook from the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kalawit. Kalawit lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kalawit lands on the inside with an uppercut. Carlo blocking some punches.
Carlo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kalawit doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kalawit. Kalawit scores with a shot to the side of Carlo's head. Carlo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carlo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carlo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kalawit sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalawit throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Carlo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Carlo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kalawit is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
