The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James gets caught flat footed, as Bova shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bova. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
James throwing shots but Bova is blocking nicely.
James is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bova reverses the position - he's now on top in James's guard.

Bova has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think James should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bova has tightened it up now! James should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
