Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heath Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Yolden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herring scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Yolden is pressing down on Herring's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Yolden lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Herring! Yolden controlling the pace for now. Yolden throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Herring tries to reverse the position but Yolden maintains control. Herring is squirming around, avoiding Yolden's attempts to control the action. Yolden sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Yolden is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Herring can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herring takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Herring is desperately trying to improve his position but Yolden has a good base and remains in mount. Yolden unloads with some shots from mount but Herring bucks and avoids them well.
Herring is looking to get to half guard. Yolden trying to control but he's not successful this time. Herring knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yolden on the ground. Yolden looking to control and managing it successfully. Herring tries to lock up and control but Yolden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Yolden looking to finish Herring with some ground and pound. This is bad for Herring! Herring tries to hold on but Yolden pushes him away. Yolden controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yolden looking to control but Herring is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Herring working to try and regain half guard.
Herring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yolden misses with a head shot. Yolden tries to control but Herring wriggling away. Yolden content just to control the position here. Yolden looks gassed!
Despite being in the dominant position, Jeff Yolden just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Herring decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Herring passes to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yolden is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Yolden wants to control but Herring is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yolden is looking to get to half guard. Yolden is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Yolden is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Yolden wants to control but Herring is having none of it. Yolden regains half guard. Yolden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Herring is working away from the top position though. Yolden moves into full guard.
Yolden has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Herring stopping the sweep attempt from Yolden. Herring trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Herring wants to get up but he can't break Yolden's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Herring trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Yolden tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Herring tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yolden swivels and escapes. Herring will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Herring circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Yolden drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Herring follows Yolden to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
