Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Detwieler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snap Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bottoms Up by Trey Songz f. Nicki Minaj. Damien Detwieler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damien Detwieler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Snap Davis! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots for a takedown but Detwieler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Detwieler, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Detwieler against the cage but Detwieler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Detwieler tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Detwieler swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
Davis dives in and grabs Detwieler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Detwieler pushes down on Davis's head and hops out. Damien Detwieler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snap Davis. Detwieler falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis counters by clinching up. Davis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Detwieler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Detwieler swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Davis lands a takedown into guard.
Davis stops Detwieler from standing up. Davis pushing down on Detwieler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Davis stalling. Davis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Davis is looking to take a break and control but Detwieler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Detwieler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Davis. Davis seems to be working for a kimura but Detwieler defends the submission attempt. Detwieler is staying active underneath Davis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Davis postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Detwieler to stand up. Davis fails with a takedown attempt. Davis wants to clinch up but Detwieler keeps it at a distance. Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis is in the full mount, landing strikes. Davis prevents Detwieler from getting the reversal. Davis connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Detwieler is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Detwieler is breathing heavily. Davis is working for a guillotine from mount but Detwieler frees his head quite easily.
Davis controlling his opponent. Davis has isolated one of Detwieler's arms. Detwieler looking to fight him off but Davis twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
