Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Tamppooni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and S S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tamppooni might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Revelations. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Timo Tamppooni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, S S! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! S tries to close the distance and clinch but Tamppooni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. S looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! S shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tamppooni but Tamppooni pushes him off and we're back to square one. S fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tamppooni feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tamppooni would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. S has his foot on Tamppooni's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tamppooni works his way back into a safe position though. Tamppooni stands and steps away. S gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tamppooni shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tamppooni showed some decent athleticism there. S has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tamppooni is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamppooni stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Tamppooni feints and then dives in with a takedown. Tamppooni has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. S wants to hit a switch here but Tamppooni passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for S there! S has given up his back here.
Tamppooni is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

S is looking to advance position but Tamppooni has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! S tries to improve his position but instead Tamppooni has taken his back! Tamppooni keeps control of the position as S tries to break free.
Tamppooni slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. S is really stuck here.

S fails with the takedown and Tamppooni counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for S! Tamppooni stands up from mount. Strange move. S S seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tamppooni drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. S is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on S's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. S is looking for a sweep. S tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tamppooni presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! S is working to get back to half guard.

Tamppooni decides to return to a standing position. S shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tamppooni counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tamppooni wanted to stand there but S had control of the position. S throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

S closes the distance but Tamppooni moves to the side and Tamppooni counters with a takedown into side control. S tries to improve position but can't. S looking for a sweep but Tamppooni has passed into full mount! Oh no! Tamppooni is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! S tries to clinch and Tamppooni decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in S's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. S tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tamppooni has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tamppooni stands up from mount. Strange move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

S misses with a takedown and Tamppooni counters with a single leg into guard. S didn't expect that. Tamppooni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for S on the ground. S throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tamppooni uses it to pass to side control.
Tamppooni decides to stand up, so the ref orders S to his feet. Tamppooni closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tamppooni blocks the strikes from S.
S is looking to get back to full guard here but Tamppooni has managed to pass to side control instead. Both fighters are breathing heavily. S tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. S is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. S is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tamppooni wants to get back to his feet but S is holding on tight.

S is looking for a sweep. S regains half guard. Tamppooni is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that S can do to turn this around? S wants to improve his position but Tamppooni is controlling well.

and Tamppooni counters with a nice double leg into guard. S is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. S throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tamppooni uses it to pass to side control.
