The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rage throws a right hand that September ducks under and follows up with a left that September also avoids with ease. September's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rage under the eye. Rage is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in September's half guard. September controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Rage is looking to advance position but September won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Rage is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, September has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage trying to control from half guard but September is working away. September avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rage. September wants to improve his position but Rage is controlling well.
Rage is pressing down on September's thigh, looking to free his foot. September is holding on for now. September is refusing to be controlled, as Rage sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rage thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rage is trying to control the action in half guard but September is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Randy Rage has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rage tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but September swivels and escapes. September throws out a loose jab but Rage uses good head movement to avoid it. Rage shoots in and drives through. September sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. September lands with a nice combination. Rage backs away looking to recover. September misses with an uppercut. Rage saw that one coming. September displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rage. Charlie September has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Rage. Rage shoots in looking for a takedown. September tries to sprawl out of it but Rage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. September manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and September counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. September scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. September misses the jab. September scores with a jab. Rage acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! September slaps away a takedown attempt from Rage, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Horrible takedown by Rage or perhaps it was just good defense by September which made him look bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie September dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rage scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. September doesn't seem bothered though. Rage shoots for a double leg takedown but September sprawls well. He's pushed Rage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. September throws a combination that misses and Rage counters with a nice double leg into guard. Rage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. September swivels though and keeps the full guard. September avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. September is keeping the position for now. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. September utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rage trying to control but September is working from the bottom. September knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground. Rage pushes down on September's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rage thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rage is looking to stall here but September recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. September is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage stands up over September, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rage is in close to September's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rage with a flurry of punches that miss. September preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rage looking to sit in guard and control but September gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for September! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. September tries to lock up and control but Rage gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rage trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rage is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Rage landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Rage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Rage closes the distance and clinches up with September, looking for a takedown. Rage pushes September against the ropes but September circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rage tries to bum rush September with a series of wild strikes but September uses good footwork to avoid the assault. September swings for the body but Rage moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from September as Rage shoots in. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage tries to score a power double leg takedown but September sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rage somewhat. Charlie September has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Rage. Rage throws a left and a right that both miss
and September connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

September tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rage was well out of range. Poor timing from September. September goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Charlie September is winning the standup battle so far. Rage closes the distance and clinches up with September, looking for a takedown. Rage pushes September against the ropes but September circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rage has a takedown stuffed. Rage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as September throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage fails with a takedown attempt. Rage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by September. Rage scores with a three punch combo!
