Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Fayaj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Drama! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Fayaj as Drama shoots in. Drama swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fayaj misses with a takedown attempt - Drama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Drama misses with a series of wild punches.
Fayaj connects with a solid leg kick. Drama with a lazy takedown attempt and Fayaj counters with a right hand to the body. Drama throws a head kick that misses and Fayaj counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drama's guard now. Fayaj passes Drama's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fayaj is looking for a kimura but Drama is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fayaj to get the leverage. Drama trying to hold on to Fayaj's head to control him but Fayaj postures up.
Drama tries to get to full guard but Fayaj has control of the leg. Fayaj is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fayaj is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fayaj is breathing heavily. Fayaj trying to control the action but Drama is working from the bottom. Drama keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Drama throws a combination that misses and Fayaj counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Drama makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Drama. Drama tries to land a sweep but no joy. Drama utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fayaj postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Drama pushes Fayaj off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drama shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fayaj counters by clinching up. Jeff Fayaj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Drama. Fayaj lands with a right to the head. Knees in the clinch landing for Drama.
Fayaj works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Drama looking for a sweep. Not yet Drama, not yet. Drama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drama wants to stand up but Fayaj has a hold of him and won't allow it. Drama wants to pass to mount but Fayaj is defending the position. Fayaj is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Drama jumps into side control! Drama tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fayaj takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Drama working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Drama has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Will Drama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drama closes the distance looking to clinch and Fayaj moves into the clinch. Drama pulls guard. Drama looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fayaj working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fayaj slips nicely into half guard. Fayaj is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fayaj seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Drama is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
