Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Durell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve van der Slam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van der Slam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Biggest & the best - Clawfinger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Durell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve van der Slam!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Durell coming out on top.
Durell lands with a good body shot.
van der Slam has Durell up against the ropes in a clinch.
Durell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but van der Slam has him pressed against the ropes.
Durell is trying to push van der Slam away but van der Slam has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
van der Slam misses with a knee strike.
van der Slam fails to pull guard.
Durell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
van der Slam tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Durell just stands there and leans against the ropes.
van der Slam tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Durell smiles and moves away.
Michael Durell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve van der Slam.
Durell lands a jab.
Durell avoids the head kick by van der Slam.
van der Slam on the wrong end of a nice hook.
van der Slam throws a wild body kick that Durell sees coming a mile off.
Durell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps van der Slam's head backwards.
It looks like Steve van der Slam has been cut.
Durell lands a glancing blow to the side of van der Slam's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
van der Slam takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Durell.
Durell is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
van der Slam takes a jab right on the kisser.
van der Slam is rocked!
A nice combination there by Durell.
van der Slam is still on wobbly legs! Can Durell finish him?
Durell drops van der Slam with a straight right hand, right on the button! Durell follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
