Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ginokai Kai Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ginokai Kai Gi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai Gi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quincy counters with a straight right hand.
Kai Gi throws a leg kick
and Quincy counters with a nice uppercut.
Kai Gi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Quincy.
Quincy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kai Gi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quincy blocks a head kick by Kai Gi.
Kai Gi walks into a stiff left hand from Quincy.
Quincy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Quincy moves into full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quincy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kai Gi?
Quincy looking for a guillotine from mount but Kai Gi is having none of it.
Quincy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kai Gi is trying desperately to improve position.
Quincy controlling the position easily from mount.
Quincy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Quincy is persistently looking for the submission but Kai Gi is defending it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kai Gi is trying to break free.
Quincy is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Kai Gi. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Kai Gi is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Quincy off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Kai Gi won't enjoy being in this position. Quincy looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kai Gi is tapping - it's over boys! Quincy picks up the submission victory!
