Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirk comes to the cage accompanied by That Heavenly Glory. Mayer has chosen I´m shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kirk has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. John Mayer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Kirk misses with a takedown attempt
letting Mayer counter with a right hand.

and Mayer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kirk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kirk is breathing heavily.
