Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Rovanpera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horst Schiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rovanpera comes to the cage accompanied by Die Antwoord - Enter The Ninja. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schiller thows a leg kick but Rovanpera checks it
and Rovanpera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Schiller goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Seppo Rovanpera has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rovanpera.
A telegraphed right hand from Schiller misses the target.
Rovanpera takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

and Schiller counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rovanpera's knee momentarily.

Rovanpera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schiller connects with a leg kick. Rovanpera looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rovanpera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schiller was covering up waiting for the punch and Rovanpera finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rovanpera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schiller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rovanpera throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schiller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rovanpera is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schiller sees it coming and defends easily.

Schiller pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rovanpera is out of range and Schiller settles back down.

A solid leg kick lands there for Schiller.
Schiller misses with a low kick as Rovanpera jumps back.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Schiller throws a leg kick which misses Rovanpera's front leg but catches the back leg as Rovanpera tries to avoid it.

A head kick from Schiller lands but Rovanpera takes it in his stride.
Rovanpera thuds a left hand into Schiller's body.
Rovanpera throws a front kick aimed at Schiller's knee but Schiller avoids it well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seppo Rovanpera will probably get the nod.

Schiller throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Schiller leaves Rovanpera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Rovanpera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Schiller won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schiller manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rovanpera in particular looking to stall.

Rovanpera uses his free foot to push down on Schiller's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Schiller.
