Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Navas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Sparks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesus Navas! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Navas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sparks needs to keep his hands up - Navas had a free shot at his head there. Navas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sparks to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sparks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Navas swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sparks stops Navas from standing up. Sparks wants to control from the top but Navas keeps moving. Sparks forces his way into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Navas can do anything to dispel that myth. Sparks is controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sparks tries to pass the half guard into mount. Navas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sparks works his way into side control. Sparks is trying to get an arm triangle but Navas is defending well. Sparks is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Navas looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sparks gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Navas is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sparks lets go of the hold and Navas can pop his arm back in it's socket.
