The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbossa tries for a takedown but Montana circles away easily
and Montana counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Barbossa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Montana!
Montana slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Montana looks like he's trying to stand up.

Barbossa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Montana doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barbossa.

Montana stalling away here and it's allowed Barbossa to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Montana tries to stand but Barbossa is controlling from the bottom.
Barbossa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Montana would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Oh but Barbossa is tightening it up a little... Montana has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Montana reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Montana taps out! nice BJJ there by Barbossa!
