Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ros Ludovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludovic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hogan counters with a nice uppercut.
Hogan clinches with his opponent.
Ludovic breaks the clinch.
Ludovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Hogan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ludovic is trying to stand back up but Hogan is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hogan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ludovic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Hogan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

and Hogan counters with a left and a right that stings Ludovic.
Ludovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ludovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hogan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hogan is thwarting Ludovic's attempts to control the position.
Ludovic pushes Hogan off looking to stand but Hogan dives back in and keeps control.

Ludovic looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ludovic is trying to keep Hogan in close.
Ludovic is breathing heavily.
Ludovic keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully.

Ludovic decides to stand back up. Ludovic steps back and let's Hogan get back to his feet.
Ludovic closes the distance but Hogan moves to the side
and Hogan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ludovic's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ludovic duly obliges.

and Hogan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ludovic!

Ludovic is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hogan tries to control but Ludovic wriggling away.
Ludovic is trying desperately to improve position.

Mikey Hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikey Hogan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hogan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
