Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ice Cold. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gunnar Erikson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erikson misses with a wild body shot. Liddell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Erikson if he has to take too many more of those.
Erikson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Liddell moves into the clinch. Erikson takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Gunnar Erikson has been cut. Erikson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Liddell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Erikson.

Erikson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Liddell rather than just go for the knockout. Liddell connects with a leg kick. Erikson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Liddell lands a really nice looking cross but Erikson seems unphased.
