The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knoxville lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Eddie Alvarez has been cut.
Alvarez shoots for a double leg takedown but Knoxville sprawls well. He's pushed Alvarez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
