Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Bang - By Barry Scott as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jamie Greywar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Barry Scott! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott thows a leg kick but Greywar checks it and Greywar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Greywar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Scott throws a lazy uppercut
and Greywar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Greywar ducks under a wild hook from Scott. Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Greywar trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is looking to stall here but Greywar recovers full guard. Greywar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scott is one step ahead there. Greywar has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Scott has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Greywar manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Scott works his way to full guard. Good work. Scott pulls Greywar in close to prevent any damage. Scott controls Greywar momentarily but Greywar frees himself. Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Scott controls Greywar momentarily but Greywar frees himself. Greywar trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom. Scott pulls Greywar in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Barry Scott wasn't active enough on the ground. Scott misses with a shot to the body and Greywar counters with a straight right hand. Scott throws an off balance right hand
and Greywar counters with a straight right hand. Scott takes a swing at Greywar's ribcage but misses. Scott throws a right hand that misses
and Greywar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Scott blocks a head kick by Greywar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Scott misses with a body shot
and Greywar counters with a solid body kick. Scott has his takedown stuffed and Greywar counters with a nice uppercut. Greywar lands a head shot. Greywar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Scott works Greywar's body with a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Greywar will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Greywar digs a good body shot into Scott's ribs. Greywar throws a lazy uppercut
and Scott counters with a right hand to the body. Scott throws a jab but it's blocked by Greywar. Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there. Scott is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Greywar has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greywar wants to control but Scott is keeping busy.
Scott prevents Greywar from improving his position. Greywar is working hard here to advance position. Still in half guard, Scott seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barry Scott has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Scott misses with an uppercut. Greywar saw that one coming. Scott misses with a left hand and Greywar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Greywar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Scott does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Scott makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Scott. Scott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Greywar is trying to escape the mount.
Scott is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greywar looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Greywar is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Scott.

Greywar is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Scott wants to control the position but Greywar frees himself and scrambles - Scott manages to regain control in side control.

and Greywar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Scott's guard. Greywar postures up and lands a big shot to Scott's brow. Greywar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Scott keeping full guard, as Greywar tries to pass. Scott has control of Greywar's left arm, preventing Greywar from doing any damage. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Greywar here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Greywar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Greywar wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greywar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Greywar thows a big elbow that misses. Scott has control of Greywar's left arm, preventing Greywar from doing any damage. Greywar is looking to work some ground and pound but Scott has wrist control. Greywar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Greywar trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom. Scott pulls Greywar in to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Scott shoots and misses and Greywar counters with a nice body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Greywar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat. Barry Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott with a lazy takedown attempt and Greywar counters with a nice body shot. Jamie Greywar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barry Scott. Scott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Greywar lands a jab to the head.
Greywar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Greywar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Greywar unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greywar working for a guillotine from mount but Scott is in no mood to give up. Greywar is landing with some decent strikes but Scott is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Greywar punishing his opponent with strikes. Scott tries to lock up and control but Greywar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Scott sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jamie Greywar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Greywar tries to pass to full mount but Scott defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greywar connects with a nice short shot to Scott's temple. Greywar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scott's head. Greywar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Scott is trying to control but can't.
Scott is not content to let Greywar control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greywar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Greywar frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Greywar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Scott is squirming around, avoiding Greywar's attempts to control the action. Scott is looking to improve his position but Greywar isn't that keen on the idea. Scott sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scott tries to get to full guard but Greywar has control of the leg. Greywar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Scott blocking the ground and pound attempt from Greywar.
And that's the end of the fight! Jamie Greywar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Greywar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
