Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crow Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uber Balance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crow Cop could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Uber Balance's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Crow Cop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uber Balance!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop throws a head kick that misses.
Cop pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Cop gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Come on Balance - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Cop wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Balance has him pressed against the cage.
Cop is looking to break free of the clinch but Balance has double underhooks.

Balance breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cop tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Balance swivels and escapes.
Some wild striking there from Cop.
Cop shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balance lands with a thumping leg kick.
Crow Cop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Balance moves out of range as Cop throws a body kick.

Balance has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cop has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Cop is covering up but some of the strikes from Balance are getting through and doing damage.
Balance throwing wild punches that miss their target.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balance avoiding Cop 's attempts to control his hands.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Balance scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Cop is looking for a way out.
Cop breaks Balance's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Cop trying to control but Balance is working from the bottom.
Cop is fighting to break Balance's control of his arms but Balance is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Balance's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Balance looking to control.
Cop showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Cop throwing strikes but missing.
Cop wants to control from the top but Balance keeps moving.
Cop wants to get up but he can't break Balance's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Balance rushes Cop and presses him up against the cage.
Cop drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cop lands with a light punch inside.
Balance has had enough of the clinch but Cop keeps him there for the moment.
Cop landing knees to the body.
Cop tries to pull guard but Balance won't allow it.
Cop trying to stall but Balance improves his position.

Balance breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cop doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Balance counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crow Cop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cop wants to break the clinch but can't.
Balance using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Balance escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cop throws a sloppy head kick

and Balance counters by clinching up.

Cop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Balance will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Balance lands a nice shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cop.
Cop gets underhooks to prevent Balance's takedown attempt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Cop throws a leg kick that is checked

and Balance decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cop's guard.
Balance works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Balance content to control rather than advance.
Cop is staying active underneath Balance, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Balance works his foot free and advances to mount.
Balance content just to control the position here.

Balance with shots to the head and body - Cop looks very uncomfortable down there.

Balance goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cop turns into him and now he's in Balance's guard.
Balance is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Balance controls Cop momentarily but Cop frees himself.
Cop loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Balance is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Cop has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Balance avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Balance prevents Cop from breaking the clinch.
Cop tries a knee to the head but Balance blocks it.
Cop wants to get back to striking at distance but Balance won't allow it.

Cop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Balance finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cop. Balance shrugs it off though.
Cop doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Balance counters with a series of strikes. Cop will be more careful next time no doubt.

Balance breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Balance is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balance tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Balance is still on wobbly legs! Can Cop finish him?
Cop throws a sloppy head kick and Balance moves out of range easily.
Cop fails to land the takedown.

Cop tries to keep at a distance but Balance has taken the fight into the clinch.
Balance seems to have recovered his senses.

Balance breaks from the clinch.
Cop has a takedown stuffed.

Balance gets the takedown into side control.
Cop takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cop tries to buck Balance off but Balance is having none of it.
Cop is not content to let Balance control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Uber Balance showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Cop closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Balance to the mat! Balance manages to get full guard.
Balance is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Balance is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Balance utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Balance wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cop is now in half guard.
Balance trying to hold on to Cop's head to control him but Cop postures up.

Balance is pressing down on Cop's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Cop gets to his feet - Balance follows without any prompting.
Cop thuds his shin into the meat of Balance's side.
Balance takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Balance wants to clinch.

Balance forces Cop back against the cage and clinches.

Balance escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cop wants to clinch
and Balance makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Cop tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Balance counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Cop swings wildly with an uppercut but Balance uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cop is looking to break free of the clinch but Balance has double underhooks.

Balance breaks from the clinch.
Cop closes the distance but Balance moves to the side

and Balance counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Balance.

Balance escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cop tries to land a front kick but Balance steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

letting Balance counter with a right hand.
Balance tries to clinch up.
Cop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick from Balance lands but Cop takes it in his stride.
Balance shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cop but Cop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Uber Balance seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cop looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Balance is fending him off so far but Cop persists. Nope, Balance circles away and we're back to standing.

and Balance counters with a shoot takedown. Cop fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Balance trying to control but Cop is working from the bottom.
Balance sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Cop is looking to sweep but instead, Balance has passed into half guard.
Cop is trying to maintain the position but Balance is very close to passing his half guard.
Balance trying to control from half guard but Cop is working away.

Cop looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Balance passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cop!
Cop is wriggling around trying to escape.
Balance throws some wild stikes that Cop manages to avoid easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cop tries to reverse the position but Balance maintains control.
Cop slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Cop kicks Balance off and gets back to his feet.
Cop throws a lazy head kick

and Balance moves into the clinch.
Balance keeps control of Cop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Balance breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Balance. No joy for Cop on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crow Cop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Balance throws a sloppy head kick
and Cop counters with a nice body kick.
Cop throws a lazy head kick
and Balance makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Balance moves out of range as Cop throws a body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Balance swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cop gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Balance counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Balance.
Crow Cop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Balance turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Balance manages to end up in side control.
Balance remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

And that's the end of the fight!
Uber Balance comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Balance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
