Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Hickey!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickey fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hickey has his takedown stuffed
and Karlsen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Karlsen lands with a good body shot.
Karlsen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Earl Hickey has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hickey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karlsen as he avoids it easily.
Andreas Karlsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Earl Hickey.
Oooooh!!! Karlsen has knocked Hickey down with a huge combo! Karlsen steps away and waves a wobbly Hickey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Hickey is rocked!
A telegraphed right hand from Karlsen misses the target.
Hickey is still on wobbly legs! Can Karlsen finish him?
Karlsen throws a hook to the side of Hickey's head but Hickey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hickey ducks under a wild hook from Karlsen.
Hickey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Karlsen misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karlsen misses with an uppercut.

Karlsen throws a lazy right hand but Hickey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Karlsen throws a looping overhand right but Hickey ducks down to avoid it.
Hickey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Karlsen throws out a loose jab but Hickey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Karlsen looks to throw the jab but Hickey is out of range.
Hickey seems to have recovered his senses.
Hickey walks straight into a right hand from Karlsen - that's dropped him! Karlsen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hickey from any more punishment! Hickey complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andreas Karlsen!
