Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pirate Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Little Lion Man as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Pirate Everett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Walker! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Everett throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walker connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Walker wants to clinch but Everett slips to the side and Everett counters with a lovely straight right hand! Everett pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch. Walker wants to get back to striking at distance but Everett won't allow it.
Everett drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Walker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Everett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walker just stands there and leans against the cage. Everett ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Everett no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Walker thows a big elbow that misses. Everett controlling the position. Walker working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Walker has gone for a leg lock! Everett slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walker's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Everett won't allow Walker to sweep him here. Everett content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Walker wants to stand up but Everett is controlling him. Walker wants to sweep but no luck. Everett trying to control but Walker is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pirate Everett. Walker with a lazy takedown attempt and Everett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Walker won't be happy with that. Walker looks gassed! Everett staying calm. You can see the frustration on Walker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to get back to his feet but Everett drags him back down. Everett stands up. Everett has closed the distance and engaged Walker in a clinch.

It looks like Pirate Everett has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walker takes a swing at Everett's ribcage but misses. Everett shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Walker eats them both and turns towards Everett to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Walker misses with a double jab
and Everett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Walker's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everett postures up.
Walker has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Everett has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is trying to control Everett's posture but Everett avoids it. Everett in side control lands a decent elbow. Everett taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker gets back to half guard. Walker is trying to get back to full guard. Walker trying to control but Everett postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Everett is trying to work for a kimura but Walker is defending well.
Everett could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Walker is trying to stand back up but Everett is controlling him
Walker is looking to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Everett stands up from half guard. Walker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pirate Everett dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pirate Everett's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Everett clinches. Walker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Everett smiles and moves away.
Walker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Pirate Everett is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Everett moves away. Walker shoots and misses and Everett counters by moving into the clinch. Walker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Everett walks away with a smile on his face. Walker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pirate Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Walker. Everett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Everett scores with a head kick.
Everett drives through with a takedown into guard. Everett looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Pirate Everett just wasn't active enough. Walker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Walker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Everett counters with a nice double leg into guard. Walker looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Everett puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Walker is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Everett controlling the action here. Walker wants to get back to his feet. Walker misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Everett lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Everett is taking a breather. Walker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Walker is trying to maintain the position but Everett is very close to passing his half guard. Everett controlling the action here. Pirate Everett overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Walker trying to control but Everett postures up.
We're going to have a standup here because Pirate Everett wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Everett tries a head kick but it misses.
Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Everett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Walker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Everett sees it coming and avoids it easily. Walker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Walker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Everett counters with a nice double leg into guard. Everett wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett stops Walker from standing up. Everett controlling from the top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Walker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Pirate Everett wasn't doing enough on the ground. A head kick misses from Walker. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker looks to land a combination but Everett avoids it well. Walker swings widly with a right hand
and Everett counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walker flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Pirate Everett dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Pirate Everett's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Walker tries for a takedown but Everett circles away easily and Everett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Walker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Everett at a distance.
Everett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Walker's guard. Walker wants to stand up but Everett is controlling him. Everett advances to half guard. Walker keeps control of the position for the meantime. Walker is looking for a sweep. Everett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Everett prevents Walker from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Everett not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Everett is looking to take a break and control but Walker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Everett content to control rather than advance.

Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Everett circles away quickly and effectively. Everett throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Walker tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Everett is in Walker's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Everett pushes down on Walker's leg and manages to get into half guard. Walker kicks off Everett and gets to his feet. Everett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Walker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Everett eats them both and turns towards Walker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Walker looks to clinch so Everett counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Walker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Everett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker keeping moving, preventing Everett from controlling successfully. Everett wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is trying to keep Everett in close.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alex Walker. Walker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Walker throws a lazy right hand but Everett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Walker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Everett counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Walker is looking to control Everett's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Walker avoid being mounted? Walker is trying to stand.
Walker wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Walker is looking to get back to full guard here but Everett has managed to pass to side control instead. Walker takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Walker tries to control but Everett manages to take his back. Walker trying to get back to his feet but Everett is in full control for now. Everett is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Walker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker is really stuck here.
And that's the end of the fight! Pirate Everett showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Everett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
