Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistar Jingler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistar Jingler! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson scores with a sloppy right hand. Jingler should have avoided that one. Jingler walks into a jab. Jingler clinches with his opponent.
Jackson throws a head punch that misses. Jingler tightens his grip and picks Jackson up, before dumping him to the ground. Jackson manages to land in guard. Jackson is looking for a triangle but Jingler pushes his legs off easily.
Jingler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now. Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Jingler defends easily.
Jingler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Jingler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jingler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jingler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jingler trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alistar Jingler was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jingler wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance. Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Jingler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Nice defenses there by Jingler. Jingler on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. A head punch blocked on the inside by Jingler. Jingler pulls Jackson into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jingler is adopting a defensive guard. Jingler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jingler has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. Jingler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jackson pushes down on Jingler's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jingler trying to control from the bottom.
Jingler tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Jackson is working for a submission of some sort.
Jingler is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Jackson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Jackson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jingler drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson gets back to half guard. Jackson wants to control but Jingler is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jingler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alistar Jingler. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Jingler saw that one coming. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jingler moves away from the strike by Jackson. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Jackson works Jingler's body with a nice hook. Jackson lands with a hook. Jingler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jackson misses with a lunging right hand
and Jingler counters with a one-two to the body. Jackson takes the fight into the clinch. Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jackson connects with the punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Jackson misses. Jackson misses the jab. Alistar Jingler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw. Jackson has Jingler up against the cage in a clinch.

Jackson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jingler is breathing heavily. Jackson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jingler backwards. Jingler pulls Jackson into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Jingler is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jingler looking for a sweep. Not yet Jingler, not yet. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jingler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Chris Jackson just wasn't active enough. Jingler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jingler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jingler looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson wants to stand but Jingler is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Jackson will probably get the nod. That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jingler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jackson connects with a single shot there. Jackson with a nice cross. Jingler moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Jackson forces Jingler back against the cage and clinches. Jackson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jackson successfully pulls guard.
Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jingler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jingler wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alistar Jingler was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jackson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jingler's head. Chris Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson tries to clinch up but Jingler circles away and keeps his distance. Jingler is looking to clinch. Jackson moves into range and connects with a jab. A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target. Jackson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Jingler saw that one coming. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Jingler ducks down to avoid it. Jackson swings widly with a right hand
and Jingler counters with a takedown into side control. Jingler controlling the position from side mount. Jingler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jingler stands up and beckons Jackson to his feet. Jackson moves out of range of the body kick. Jackson instigates a clinch. Jackson scores with a nice hook to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Jingler tries a knee to the head but Jackson blocks it.
Jingler has Jackson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jackson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jackson misses with the head strike.
Jackson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jingler backwards. Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jingler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jingler takes one on the button. Jingler is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jackson throws the left hand but Jingler avoids the punch easily. Jingler slips a straight right by Jackson. Jingler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Chris Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. Jackson scores with a jab. Jingler acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jingler tries to keep at a distance but Jackson has taken the fight into the clinch. Jackson throws a head punch that misses. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jackson. Jackson lands with a right to the head. Jackson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jinglers head.
Jingler is rocked! Jackson drops Jingler onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jingler is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Jingler is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him? Jackson gets control of Jingler's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jingler wants to stand and escape but instead Jackson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jingler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Jingler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson! Jingler seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jingler keeps working. Jingler tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
