Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikita Krushev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Lobanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krushev comes to the cage accompanied by Forever Lost. Lobanov has chosen Primitive as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nikita Krushev could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nikolay Lobanov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikita Krushev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Lobanov! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lobanov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Krushev quickly recovers to half guard. Krushev blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lobanov. Lobanov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Krushev tries to kick Lobanov off but Lobanov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lobanov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lobanov is looking to work some ground and pound but Krushev has wrist control. Lobanov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Krushev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Krushev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lobanov controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nikolay Lobanov. Lobanov shoots for a double leg takedown but Krushev sprawls well. He's pushed Lobanov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lobanov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Krushev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Krushev tries to bum rush Lobanov with a series of wild strikes but Lobanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Krushev gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lobanov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lobanov stays in close to Krushev's body and controls the position. Lobanov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krushev works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lobanov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lobanov wants to pass the guard but Krushev is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lobanov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Krushev wants to stand up but Lobanov is controlling him.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nikolay Lobanov. Krushev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lobanov shoots in but Krushev avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lobanov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Krushev's guard. Lobanov scoring with punches to the head and body. Lobanov looking to sit in guard and control but Krushev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lobanov looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lobanov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Krushev is trying to push Lobanov away but Lobanov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Lobanov tries for a takedown but Krushev manages to get underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nikolay Lobanov dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Lobanov feints and then cracks Krushev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Krushev down. Lobanov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Krushev throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lobanov's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Krushev dives in looking to finish as Lobanov flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Krushev's strikes! Krushev is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lobanov's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lobanov was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikita Krushev!
